1. What Ghost is

Ghost is an AI-assisted desktop tool that transcribes meeting audio and generates informational responses in real-time. It is a productivity aid only. Ghost does not provide legal, financial, medical, or professional advice of any kind.

2. Your responsibility for recording consent

This is the most important term. Please read it carefully.

Ghost captures audio from meetings you participate in. Recording laws vary significantly by country, state, and jurisdiction. Many regions — including several US states, the UK, and the EU — require the consent of all parties before a conversation may be recorded.

By using Ghost, you accept full and sole responsibility for ensuring that your use of the app complies with all applicable recording, wiretapping, and privacy laws in your jurisdiction and in the jurisdictions of all other meeting participants.

Ghost (mad-bot.com) accepts no liability whatsoever for any legal consequences arising from your use of the app in connection with the recording or transcription of third-party conversations.

3. AI-generated content

Responses generated by Ghost are produced by AI models and may be incomplete, inaccurate, or out of date. You agree not to rely on Ghost's output as a substitute for professional judgment. We make no warranties as to the accuracy or fitness of AI-generated responses for any particular purpose.

4. Credits and payments

• →Credits are consumed on a per-session basis (1 credit = 1 hour of meeting time).
• →Credits are non-refundable once consumed.
• →Subscription credits reset monthly and do not carry over.
• →We reserve the right to adjust pricing with reasonable notice.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Ghost to:

• Record conversations without lawful basis or required consent
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity in meetings
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the Ghost API
• Share account credentials or resell access to the service
• Use the service for any unlawful purpose

Violation of these terms may result in immediate account suspension without refund.

6. Service availability

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to Ghost. We may suspend or discontinue the service at any time with reasonable notice. Scheduled maintenance will be communicated where possible.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ghost (mad-bot.com) shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service — including but not limited to damages from reliance on AI-generated content, legal consequences of recording, or interruption of service.

Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 30 days prior to the claim.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Ghost after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We will notify registered users by email for material changes.
